Frequently Asked Questions

Does involvement in Power Softball affect PWSA eligibility?

No.
A main program goal of Power Softball is to support the development of players alongside their team programs, not take away from it. As a winter training program, not a 12-month team, the Power Softball Program does not conflict with PWSA eligibility at all. We have been in conversation with the PWSA throughout our planning process to ensure that eligibility is not an issue.
We have received written commitment from the PWSA President that the program is approved by them and players eligibility will be unaffected.
If you'd like a copy of this commitment to have on file or have other questions, please contact us via the link below.

How do I know what age group to register for?

As our main competition will be in March of 2027, players should register for the age group that they'll be playing at in 2027.

What is offered outside of U15 - 17?

Power Softball is focused on the U15 and U17 age groups to provide showcasing opportunities. Check out our Lessons Page to learn more about other great training options at BTL!

Is this a year round team?

No. Power Softball is designed to work with/alongside teams, not pull players away from them. Our off-season training will occur October - March

What will the Florida trip all entail?

We are continuing to finalize the itinerary for our culminating trip. More details will be shared at our parent information session during try out #1.
