These unique sessions will merge yoga and mindfulness to offer classes for every age and ability! Sarrah will help you manage your daily stresses and find your balance to help you live peacefully and positively.

Chair Yoga for Older Adults

Chair yoga is a great way for older adults to get the wonderful health benefits of yoga. Staying seated means that even those who aren’t flexible can safely do the exercises. Yoga is an excellent way for older adults to loosen and stretch painful muscles, reduce stress, and improve circulation.

You will be guided through a different theme each week and explore foundational yoga postures.  We move through each pose mindfully and focus on breath, body awareness, and alignment. Strengthening and peaceful postures will leave you nourished, stretched and balanced. For all levels of experience.

5:15 & 6:15 PM

Yoga for Men

Gentlemen, are you looking to limber up those hips, hamstrings, shoulders and spine? This class will familiarize you with some basic postures and give you confidence. This yoga program aimed at men includes traditional yoga , deep core work, breathing techniques as well as additional variations of squats and push-ups. People often think you have to be flexible already to start doing yoga. This is not the case. With this class, anyone, no matter how stiff, can begin to practice yoga. Also a great sequence for athletes from other sports wanting to cross-train with yoga to create a more flexible body. You will feel more flexible, relaxed, more in control of your body. Yoga For Inflexible Guys is a great way for a man to start practicing yoga to stay healthy, young, balanced and prevent injuries.

About Sarrah Beemer

Sarrah Beemer thrives and survives in her busy life with her own practice to help provide balance.  She is a high school teacher, certified life coach, and certified Yoga and Meditation teacher.  Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness has provided her the tools and skills to share her own experiences with you.  As if that wasn't busy enough, Sarrah also runs her own small wellness business, Be Well with Sarrah Beemer. In her free time, Sarrah loves reading, working out, brunch, and spending time with her family and 2 dogs.
